Grid charging a Bluetti device that is running in Split-Phase mode requires that the outlet(s) also provide "split-phase". This means that you must provide one phase to your Master unit and the other phase to your Slave unit. If you fail to provide this, your Bluetti device will through a phase-integration error.
What is split-phase?
If you do not understand what Split-Phase means then please take a moment to read this article: (coming soon)
How to check your outlet(s) for Split-Phase:
If you understand that Split-Phase is simply two opposite phases of your grid power, but are unsure if your outlet(s) provide both phases then the below video will show you how to check your outlets for each phase.
Notice:
Even though you can technically use two separate 15 or 20 amp 120 volt outlets, it is not recommended to do so while running loads from your Bluetti device. These outlets should only be used to charge a system that has no loads connected.
Please follow the directions of Bluetti and use the following:
30 amp 240 volt outlet for your two AC300 systems
50 amp 240 volt outlet for your two AC500 systems
Failure to follow Bluetti guidelines can result in electrical damage to your Bluetti unit, an overload of your home circuits and even cause an electrical fire.
